Jeff Kirschenbaum, a large law firm veteran with more than 30 years of experience, founded Kirschenbaum Law, PC in 2017, in Oakland, Calif. We offer financial institutions and business litigation clients an exceptional experience in a boutique setting with direct partner access and right-sized supporting services.

 

Our size and structure are intentional, aimed at giving bank legal departments and leadership teams direct access to the strategy, skills and insights of our experienced attorneys and, in the reverse, ensuring we have a deep understanding of the complexities of our clients’ businesses – whether a major financial institution, regional or community bank, real estate trust or family office.

Operating from well-appointed and easily accessed offices in Oakland’s City Center neighborhood, we’re proudly “old school,” believing that clients deserve personal attention and direct and frequent communication with the partner-in-charge of their matter. We think this builds trust and results in more efficient handling of client matters. Our senior administrative staff, including our office manager and legal secretary, are integral to delivering personalized service and help complete the client service team.

And while our service and attention may feel like a throwback to another time, we’re also a leader in the use of online technology.  In 2020, we successfully handled the first online civil trial held in San Francisco Superior Court. Jeff is a member of the advisory board of the Online Courtroom Project, a task force on the psychological, behavioral, communication, and technical elements of online courtroom operations.
